Fall Shoe Event: Every Mom Needs Merrell Boots!

Last year I had my first experience with Merrell boots and they changed winter for me, in a good way. Until last year I had two separate boot categories my boots I loved that looked good and those functional boots for when it snowed that were not so cute. then I got my Merrell Yarra Boots. Finally I had a boot that was cute and functional, I could go to the mall on a snowy day and wear a cute outfit with fun boots  instead of hiding ugly snow boots under my jeans.

After I discovered how Merrell boots could change my winter fashion wardrobe I knew I needed a pair in black, preferably knee high to wear with my skinny jeans. This year Merrell has a stylish boot out called the Merrell Martina Waterproof boot. This boot comes in 3 colors, one being black, and has a 15 inch shaft so perfect for with my skinny jeans. Not only is this boot cute but it is super comfortable with an anti-impact air cushion heel and antimicrobial lining. The boot is also waterproof so bring on the snow, it can not dampen my fashion parade! This fabulous boot retails for $200 and I can not wait to wear them. Want another great Merrell boot option? Check out what Andrea of Momma in Flip Flops2 will be sporting this winter.

  1. Last year was my first winter in Chicago, and I too developed a category of ugly/functional boots vs. cute boots….with no overlap… cute boots didn’t work on really snowy days, and the functional boots were heavy, clunky and awful. I bought a pair of Sorels on a recommendation of a friend, and while they got me through the blizzard they’re too heavy (come to find out they do make lighter versions) to wear around on any normal snow days…I was so disappointed!

I hope to find a pair of boots that work and wonder if they’d work for me!
